The Hutchinson Island Adventure: Glascock Beach
Where is Glascock Beach?
For anyone who has been to Jensen Beach, they can probably tell you about the huge mansion there. Huge. If you haven’t seen it, you should definitely check it out… especially at Christmas time when they have their lights up! Anyways, Glascock Beach is the first public beach access North of the Jensen Beach Mansion.
The Adventure Continues…
Sunrise was at 6:30 a.m. this morning and unlike the last few weeks, I did not want to get out of bed. If it wasn’t for my excitement to photograph the sunrise, I believe it is safe to say I would have slept in until the noise of my children playing woke me up. Just when I thought I was becoming an early bird…
Glascock Beach is dedicated to the memory of Mr. Harvey L. Glascock for his concern and community efforts in the welfare and benefits for the citizens of Martin County. It is a beautiful beach and it is within walking distance to the more popular Jensen Beach Park. It is a great area to go if you want to be close to the more popular beach but far enough away from the crowd. It’s funny because even though my main focus was to see the sunrise, I couldn’t help looking at the Mansion. One can only imagine what it must be like to live in that luxury. To be honest, I would be happy with a trailer on the beach. Just being able to wake up to an ocean sunrise every morning would be treasure enough for me.
Do you have any stories or adventures that took place on Glascock Beach? How about the mansion? I would love to hear about them. Feel free to comment on this post and tell me about it!
Sadly, the adventure had come to an end. I hope you have enjoyed looking at my photographs at least a fraction as much as I enjoyed witnessing the real thing. Before you leave, take some time to check out my Adventure Gear Store. It includes items that I have purchased as well as things that I would like to have for future adventures on the beach. If you know of anything else that might interest me, comment and let me know so that I can add it to my store. Please feel free to like, comment, and even share my blog with others. Today’s journey concluded and it has motivated me to look forward to what the future will bring. Please join me next week as I continue the journey on my Hutchinson Island Adventure!
