The Hutchinson Island Adventure: South Beach Jetty

Where is the South Beach Jetty?

Ask anyone who lives in the area and they can point you directly to the South Beach Jetty.  It is probably one of the most popular places to visit in Fort Pierce, Florida.  Just follow the A1A to the Northern part of the Hutchinson Island and you can’t miss it.

The Adventure Continues…

On May 13, 2017, sunrise at the South Beach Jetty arrived at 6:33 a.m.  Along with the House of Refuge, the South Beach Jetty is probably one of the most popular places for photographers to shoot sunrises on the Treasure Coast.  It is also one of my favorite locations, whether I am planning on shooting photographs or just taking my family to the beach for some fun.  There are so many things to do and see here.  The wildlife is abundant.  At any given time, you can see many species of birds, crabs, fish, and even manatee.  Many restaurants and shops are nearby and you can even rent a variety of equipment, such as: bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, and much more!

I arrived at the South Beach Jetty well before the sunrise.  While I was able to get a really good parking spot, I was definitely not the first person to arrive here this morning.  Besides your fishermen, and sunrise photographers, there was also a number of people just there to see the sunrise.  Considering how early it was, it was pretty crowded.  To me, it didn’t matter that I was not the only one here because the sunrise was stunning.  The clouds were beautifully unique and the atmosphere was perfect for my weekly adventure.  If you are ever in the area, this is a place that you must visit at least once. Sadly, the adventure had come to an end.  I hope you have enjoyed looking at my photographs at least a fraction as much as I enjoyed witnessing the real thing.  Before you leave, take some time to check out my Adventure Gear Store.  It includes items that I have purchased as well as things that I would like to have for future adventures on the beach.  If you know of anything else that might interest me, comment and let me know so that I can add it to my store.  Please feel free to like, comment, and even share my blog with others.  Today’s journey concluded and it has motivated me to look forward to what the future will bring.  Please join me next week as I continue the journey on my Hutchinson Island Adventure!
